Inspired

I feel like I have been neglecting my blog of late or my attention has been in different directions. Today I went up to do a quick tidy of the Study as I was hopping to get outside and pull some weeds and clean up before putting up some Christmas lights, about two hours later this is what happened.

Inspiration

it all just fell in the frame so easy needless to say I have twice as much mess to clean up now.

I used the clock from the Sence of time stamp set from the spring mini, which I have been wanting to use for a while now, this may be turned into a workshop combining some papers from the urban garden designer series  I can see this as a scrappy page

My swaps

This Saturday I will be heading off to Regionals for Stampin Up I am looking forward to it, has been just over a year now since I first joined Tracie and her team,  if I was to look back a year ago, thinking can I do this how  hard do I have to work at this and what am I going to get out of this.

Answer:  A lot-  not only do I have a stack of stamps and inks I never  thought I would own, I have gained good friends, and knowledge on products that I never even considered using , I now have a Blog never even considered that  until I was encouraged by our team, it was the done thing to do. So if you ever are interested in becoming a demonstrator it’s not scary its nothing but positiveness worth considering.

Having reflected here are my cards that I will be swapping at Regionals

swap

They are a little simple for me but as you are making about ten or more it pays to be simple the photo doesn’t pick up the pattern paper or the edging in gold and the bling on the tree

Taking some time

I’m feeling lazy I woke at my normal time this morning but with no sence of urgency Luke has gone off to work therefore no rush to get him to school today. Sitting in my rocking chair next to the window drinking my coffee soaking up the beautiful sun streaming through, I can here the birds chirping this is my reminder that spring is here and days like this want last long and the next thing we will be shutting all the curtins trying to keep the hot sun out, even our spring can be hot. I could be loading the dishwasher, pull a few weeds, sweep the floor,  fold the washing, finish the layout that is spread across the kitchen table but here in my chair is just nice taking some time.chair

close up

This was using the Urban Garden paper and Flower fancy and Kindred spirits stamps from Stampin Up

both layouts are the same I turned one upside down and placed the photo accordingly this sets your dimensions off each other so to sit flat and not much thinking has to be down about the second layout easy. this was a in house workshop.

This is what I should be doing Jenni’s costume

a sneak preview
